It is images like this which make me wish I had a cheeky $100 to go buy some new bloody clothes!

avignon

Yes, I am obsessed with the South of France, but how can you not be, it's stunning.

Avignon is located in Provence, just one hour inland from Marseille. It is known for it's pictureque lavander fields and stone buildings. I look at these images and they just express what I think small town France will be like. I really hope we get to venture to Avignon.

tuscany

The colours are Tuscany make me feel relaxed instantly when I see the serene images. I look forward about 15 weeks from now and I'm in the back of an old van, windows down with the wind blowing through my hair as I look out to the fields of Tuscany. A wine or two will definitely be consumed during our time here. Perhaps a dry Chianti.

P.S. We've decided on a date. We leave ten weeks today!!!

new passports

This morning I sent away KB and my passport renewal forms. In two short weeks we will have our brand spanking new passports (with horrid photos). As soon as they're back Visa applications will begin to roll out! Flights will most likely be booked in the next two weeks also. Exciting times!

french tree house

How fantastic would be it be to stay in a French luxurious Tree House! This one is located in Montauban, South France and costs 225 Euro a night. Even if I had that kind of money to throw around I'd be out of luck to stay here this Euro trip as the waiting list to get a night is HUGE!

Either way I think I would pay that much to have an experience like that. Perhaps for my 23rd or 24th birthday. Hint Hint. But until then, one can dream...

verdon gorge

Another French wonder I'm currently dreaming about is the Verdon Gorge. The Gorge is located in the south of France and is Europes largest canyon. In some spots it's over 700 metres deep.

Walking, hiking, biking, climbing, kayaking and rafting down the gorge a just a few of the possibilities. I'm definitely a thrill seeker and am really hoping to visit the gorge and take a rough ride downstream.

The town of Castellane is known as the gateway to the gorge and is a very sweet small town which looks perfect to relax in, in preparation for spot of river rafting.

soft colours

With it moving into spring months in the Northern Hemisphere pastels and soft colour are emerging all over online blogs and I must say I'm obsessed with these colour paettes. This shoot of Lovisa Ekholm is getting me very excited for my soon to be European Summer!

I especially am into the multi-coloured shirt in the first shot, the amazing retro sunnies and the mint coloured jacket. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on any of these outfits.

Cassis, France

Another destination on the top of my list is Cassis in the South of France. Cassis is a quaint town with a number of inlets called Calanques. These can only be accessed by foot (a 50 minute walk) or boat.

How stunning are they!? The water looks to die for. I can not wait to lay on my back in this clear, clean water.

macarther park

I'm in love with this photo shoot shot at Macarther Park by Kathryna Hancock

The 60's inspiration shines through and how good does that cake look?  (not to mention the amazing floral shorts too!)

florals

At the moment I am loving large floral prints, they go so well in full force effect with other floral or different prints.

I have my eye on a wee dress to purchase however lack of spending funds means purchasing it is unlikely.

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre is one of the top destinations on my must see list for when we get to Europe. Our first 5 week trip is going to travel to Italy (among other countries) and I'm really looking forward to seeing Cinque Terre. It is located on the West Coast on the Italian Riviera.

Meaning 'five lands' the coast contains five villages which are accessed by foot mainly (or ferry/train).

I've heard that it is truely spectacular and the colours are what capture my need to go there.

why hello there.

hello. and welcome.
My name is Anna and I am about to embark on the most exciting experience of my life. In 3 short months I will be jumping ship (via air) and heading to London, England. I will spend 5 weeks touring a carefully selected segment of Europe with my boyfriend of 1 year and a van full of friends and fellos. This blog will document my passion of travel as well as fashion. I will tell you of my plans and developments as well as take you on my journey after I leave.

You can view my previous blog 'BTW i’m obsessed with your blog' here, my tumblr here and my newly developed Pinterest here.

Enjoy.
